P.G.Vinda is an Indian Cinematographer, writer and Director who made his debut as a cinematographer with National award winning film Grahanam (2004 ), when digital technology was breaking he shot “Grahanam” on Panasonic Mini DV Digital Camera. He received critical acclaim for the camera work displayed exceptional quality of the visuals and it was a pioneering effort in the History of Telugu cinema on digital technology. He made his debut as a writer & director with a children movie The Lotus Pond (2011) on his childhood fascinations got very good public appreciation at 17th (ICFFI) Children’s International Film Festival, India.

He was graduated from the JNTU school of Fine Arts in Photography and visual communication, Vinda was born into a farming family from village Palem, district Nagar Kurnool Telangana & had a good academic record, had showcased good paintings right from his earlier ages. His childhood also gave him a good vision towards cultural and folk arts as his father Govind Narayana artist who has done and gone through folklore and street plays.

P.G. Vinda’s association with Indraganti Mohana Krishna worked in many films such as Grahanam(2004), AshtaChemma(2008), Gentlemen (2016), Ami Thumi (2017), Sammohanam(2018) and V (2020) etc.,Vinda worked with several notable directors like Purijaganadh, Neelaknata, Jayanth C. Paranjee. Apart from main stream films, P.G. Vinda has also done many AD films, TV commercials, Documentaries and Short films too.
